Free Online Motion Graphics & Video Editor

MotionFrame is a free online video editor built for motion graphics. Animate text, numbers, shapes and media on a real timeline, preview instantly, and export a finished MP4 or WebM — all inside your browser, with no install, no account and no watermark.

Runs entirely on your device — your media is never uploaded.

What it does

A motion graphics editor that lives in a browser tab

MotionFrame opens like a web page and works like a small non-linear editor. A project has a size, frame rate and duration; that project holds layers; and every layer has animatable properties you drive with keyframes. Here is the short version — the features page goes deeper.

Keyframe animation

Position (2D and 3D), scale, rotation, opacity and anchor — set values, place keyframes, and the editor interpolates between them with the easing curve you choose.

Multi-layer video editing

Bring in video, images and audio as independent layers with their own timing. Reorder, trim, split and animate each one, then export the finished cut in a single pass.

Text and animated numbers

Add titles and captions, then use Number Scroll to roll a figure between values — 1,000, $4,250 or 98% — while the surrounding words stay exactly as written.

Shapes and lines

Rectangles, ellipses, polygons and stars, plus draggable lines with stroke, caps and arrowheads. All rendered as real vector geometry, so they stay crisp.

3D camera and depth

Switch a layer to 3D and move it on the Z axis, or drive a dedicated, keyframable camera for perspective and orbit moves that add real depth.

Preview and export

Preview, playback and export share one rendering pipeline, so the frame you see is the frame you get. Export to MP4 or WebM entirely on your machine.

Who it's for

Made for quick, real motion work

MotionFrame suits anyone who needs a title card, an animated number, a product callout or a short motion graphic without installing and learning heavyweight desktop software.

  • Creators and social editors turning out short posts and intros.
  • Teachers and students making explainers and presentations.
  • Marketers and small teams producing ads, promos and lower-thirds.
  • Developers who need placeholder or demo clips.
  • Anyone curious about animation who wants to try keyframes for the first time.

If you need deep compositing, colour grading or large multi-track professional finishing, a dedicated desktop suite will serve you better. MotionFrame aims to be fast, focused and honest about what it does — read more about the project.

How it works

From blank canvas to finished clip

1. Create a project

Pick a size and frame rate, then start from an empty canvas or import your own media.

2. Add layers

Video, images, audio, text, numbers, shapes and lines all become independent layers.

3. Animate with keyframes

Move the playhead, set a value, and let the timeline interpolate the motion between keys.

4. Preview and export

Scrub and play to check the timing, then export an MP4 or WebM without leaving the browser.
